Real birthdays are not annual affairs. Real birthdays are the days when we have a new birth.
Death and taxes and childbirth! There’s never any convenient time for any of them.
We are all born naked and screaming and if you’re lucky that sort of thing won’t stop there
The day which we fear as our last is but the birthday of eternity.
