Indian Overseas Bank (IOB),invites ON-LINE applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment against 551 vacancies for various Specialist Officers positions :
1. Top Management Grade (TMG-VI)  : 06 pots (Risk Management-1, Integrated Treasury -1, Management -1, Information Technology -1, Cash Management – Transaction
Banking -1)
2. Senior Management Grade (SMG -V scale) : 04 posts (Risk Management -2, Information Technology – (MIS) – 1, Media Officers-2)
3. Senior Management Grade (SMG – IV scale) : 01 post (Chief Economist -1)
4. Middle Management Grade (MMG-III scale) : 04 posts (Economist -4)
5. Middle Management Grade (MMG-II scale) : 551 posts
Manager-Security Officers (Manager – Security Officer 9 + Manager – Fire Officer 1) : 10 posts
Manager -Chartered Accountants : 25 posts
Manager-Company Secretary : 01 post
Manager-Electrical Engineer : 01 post
Manager-Printing Technologist : 01 post
Credit Officers : 500 posts
Application Fee : Rs.300/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in cash at the any of the IOB and take candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt Challan.

General Instructions:
a) Bank has the right to cancel candidature at any stage if found that any candidate is not fulfilling the eligibilitycriteria. If any candidate found ineligible even after appointment his/her services are liable to be terminated
b) Candidates are required to apply only ‘ONLINE’. Any other form of application shall be rejected.
c) The Bank is free to reject any application, at any stage of the recruitment process, if the candidate is foundineligible for the post. The decision of the Bank in any matter relating to recruitment at all the stages of therecruitment process will be final and binding upon the candidate. No correspondence or personal queries inthis regard shall be enteratined by the Bank.
d) Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in India need apply
e) Any dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of courts situated atChennai.
f) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
g) All candidates will have to produce, if called for interview, originals as well as attested photocopies of theireducational as well as caste certificate, certificate of disability or any other certificate in support of theireligibility, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
h) Candidates claiming to have work experience, if called for interview, will have to produce documentary proofof Work experience certificates relevant to the post applied for, for the period mentioned in the ApplicationForm, from their employers, clearly stating the periods and nature of employment/ duties. Copies ofappointment Offer Letter, Salary certificates, etc., in lieu of work experience Certificates will not be accepted.
i) An Ex-servicemen candidate has to produce a copy of the discharge certificate / pension payment orderand documentary proof of rank last / presently held ( substantive as well as acting ) at the time of Interview.Those who are still in defence service should submit a certificate from a competent authority that they will berelieved from Defence Services within 12 months from the date prescribed for opening of online registration.
j) In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, the certificate inter-alia must specify that the candidatedoes not belong to “CREAMY LAYER” section excluded from the benefits of reservations for OBCs in Civil Postand Services under Government of India. The OBC certificate containing “Non Creamy Layer Clause” shouldbe based on income for the financial year 2011-12 and issued on or after 01.04.2012.
k) Candidates serving in Government /Quasi Government Offices/Public Sector Undertakings includingNationalised Bank, Financial Institutions will be required to submit “No Objection Certificate” from the employerat the time of interview failing which the candidature may not be considered.
l) The candidates will have to appear for written examination and interview at their own expense.
